ATTENTION ⚠️
In Observance of the holidays, Agilent CrossLab/ iLab Operations Software Support Help Desk will be closed during EU hours on Wednesday January 1st, 2025. We will resume regular EU support hours on Thursday January 2nd, 2025. For urgent matters, please add "Urgent" to the ticket/ email subject or press "1", when prompted, to escalate a call on the iLab Support phone and we will prioritize those requests first.
The Flow Cytometry Core Facility's aim is to provide a high quality professional service related to flow cytometric techniques using cutting edge equipment. To achieve this goal, we encourage interaction between users and lab members of the core facility.
We are open to QMUL and external users offering the following services on a fee-for-service basis. Support and training is provided for the use of all analysers. In addition, help is provided in experiment and panel design, data interpretation, presentation and troubleshooting.
This Flow Cytometry Facility is equipped with the following flow cytometers:
Cell sorters and mass cytometers are a staff-operated service and can be requested by emailing "flowcytometry@qmul.ac.uk".
Users who complete the Basic Training may book the self-service flow cytometers. Special training for other platforms (Aurora and ImageStream) is available and must be completed before use. Please contact the Flow Team on "flowcytometry@qmul.ac.uk" for training or any other requests.
External users can access the facility during regular working hours (Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:00), while trained internal users normally have 24/7 access.
DATA ANALYSIS
Various analysis software are available to our trained users and can be booked on our Data Analysis workstation. Access to these resources can be requested via the facility email (flowcytometry@qmul.ac.uk).
DATA DELETION:
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: Please ensure that you acknowledge the BCI Flow Cytometry Facility in any publications or presentations that include work carried out in the facility. This is vital to ensure continued funding for the facility, as the cost recovery model in place only partly covers total running costs.
A brief sentence in the acknowledgement section of a paper is sufficient:
Thank you in advance for your support.
